A highly anticipated exhibition held annually in the month of May, Tax Free World Association (TFWA) combines over 11,000sqm floorspace of regional & global brands. Additionally, a comprehensive networking programme & 3 plenary sessions were held – with speeches by industries’ leaders, discussion of the development in travel retails as well as future trends of the duty-free industry.
Milton Exhibits Singapore had the opportunity to work alongside 5 companies on the conceptualization, design & fabrication of their exhibition booths, namely – Fiyta (30sqm), Lindt (30sqm), Beluga Vodka (29sqm), Fen Jiu (20sqm) & Xi Jiu (18sqm).
With over 300 booths & 1,200 attendees, TFWA is definitely an event not to be missed.

An annual global event, Vitafoods Asia is the only dedicated event covering the nutraceutical supply chain - from ingredient to shelf. where visitors, suppliers and distributors come together to do business.
Appointed the Official Contractor for Vitafoods Asia 2018, which was being held at Marina Bay Sands spanning across 3 halls (14,560sqm), Milton Singapore was responsible for the construction of 330 Booths, Organizers Stands as well as the design and built of 17 Special Designed Booths, including a Poland Pavilion.
For the Organizer Stands, areas such as Tasting Centre and Theatre were built to allow exhibitors to showcase their products and provide Health related talks respectively. Overall, the event was a great success with a turn out of over 5,000 attendees from 60 countries.
The Tokyo Auto Salon in Makuhari Messe convention centre, Japan, is one epic motorshow for car lovers. As Motul's official contractor, Milton Singapore is delighted to participate in the 2017 edition. To exhibit the brand's wide range of products, the 216sqm booth was designed and built with various sections and environments.
A car garage scene showcased Motul's consumer-centric products, while motorsport enthusiasts were greeted with the award-winning race car from the Nismo and Motul partnership. At a different area, 3 different types of bikes each represented product lines from Motul's new Powersport range - Urban Attitude (consumer bike), Racing Attitude (competition bike) and Fun Attitude (dirt bike).
Finally, a stage for flair bartender performances and interviews with race champions Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli was set-up, to cap off the brand's passion for motorsports, high performance and strength.
Singapore's only professional national Chinese Orchestra, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) is known for its high performance standards, versatility, and for incorporating Southeast Asian 'Nanyang' music elements into its repertoire.
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the SCO decided to commission the "Igniting 20 Years of Rhythmic Passion" exhibition. Held at the Singapore Conference Hall, the month-long exhibition aimed to showcase the orchestra's 20 years of musical excellence, growth and milestones.
The Milton Singapore team was tasked to conceptualize, design and fabricate the exhibition. To better aid in content delivery, the exhibition was arranged in 3 different 'Movements'. The exhibition was also designed to be as interactive as possible, encouraging visitors to sit in chairs mimicking that of an orchestra formation, viewing content from screens placed within music stands. Drawers containing information were also placed around the exhibition, instilling curiosity and engaging visitors.
With a solid turnout of 47,000 visitors, the annual Singapore Motorshow is back, bigger and better than before. This year, Milton Singapore is extremely proud to be appointed contractor for not 1, but 2 booths - Honda and Cycle and Carriage.
The 600sqm Honda booth was full of exciting activities, featuring the unveiling of its NSX, a line-up of celebrity emcees and an acapella number.
On the other hand, the 1,600sqm Cycle and Carriage pavilion was an exceptionally lively one, with 4 car launches, 1 celebrity fan-meet session and daily performances. Through it all, the Milton team managed to design different environments to bring out the characteristics of 5 distinct car brands:
1) Mercedez-Benz was kept clean and classy
2) Kia used vertical greenery to emphasize its eco-friendly hybrid car
3) DS Automobile was sleek and polished for its celebrity fan-meet session
4) A flash mob performance and music video was choreographed to bring out the youthful, fun-loving spirit of Mitsubishi ASX
5) A dance was also choreographed for Citroen Picasso, with dancers ranging from younger children to senior dancers, to portray the family aspects of the car
The Asia TV Forum @ Market (ATF) is Asia's Annual Entertainment content trade show. Having previously designed Mediacorp's booth, the Milton team was again involved in this year's booth design & build. To help Mediacorp better showcase their very diverse portfolio, the team categorised the 90sqm booth space into 4 different areas, each with their own thematic, interactive anchor wall.
On top of booth conceptualisation and fabrication, the team was also tasked to manage a press conference event for one of Mediacorp's featured dramas, including celebrity interviews and photo-taking sessions. Held at the booth itself over a duration of 3 hours, the event saw a crowd of about 30 attendees and a squad of 7 celebrities.
MATTA FAIR® is Malaysia's premier annual travel extravaganza, attracting 100,000 or more visitors from Malaysia, ASEAN, and the rest of the world.
This year, the Milton Singapore team was engaged by the Hong Kong Tourism Board to design and build a booth to market Hong Kong as a travel destination.
With more young audiences eschewing cookie-cutter vacations for authentic adventures, the team decided to change up the game a little. Instead of focusing on the typical tourist attractions, the team decided to bring a slice of the 'real' Hong Kong to the event, by recreating life-sized props of various quintessentially Hong Kong elements.
Ultimately, the 90sqm booth saw excited visitors experiencing a fun, spontaneous and culturally-rich Hong Kong within the fair, taking photos with the Hong Kong 'Ding Ding' Tramways, and a Hong Kong street food stall.
Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) is one of the region's highly anticipated food and hospitality megashow. Covering 97,000sqm of area with its first outdoor hall extension, the 4-day event saw more than 72,000 visitors from the world.
Milton Singapore is proud of be one of the official event organisers for FHA 2016. On top of orchestrating an Opening Ceremony with a FHA inspired UV-light dance performance and managing the Barista Challenge stage, the Milton team also designed and fabricated more than 10 booths at the tradeshow.
Building on the success of 2015, the Singapore Motor Show returned in 2016 for the second consecutive year a bigger and even more exciting show, much to the delight and celebration of thousands of motoring enthusiasts in Singapore.
This year, the Milton Singapore team is proud to be the driving force behind the Honda exhibition, not only managing the launch of its all-new Honda Legend, but also designing and fabricating the entire 400sqm booth.
Expanding on the "Go Beyond Imagination" concept, the team once again explored the limits of spatial boundaries, showcasing the raw energy of the Honda Power of Dreams with a single container suspended above the entire booth - a testament to Honda's grit in developing challenging products unique to the brand and their founder's dream to build performance vehicles.
2016 marks Milton Singapore's 3rd consecutive appointment as the official event agency for Sony Professional @ Broadcast Asia.
Since nothing is more convincing than first-hand experience with the product itself when it comes to purchasing technology, the Milton Singapore team created a booth that goes beyond just product display.
in addition to the typical shelf space, the team also designed an exceptionally vibrant Candyland themed movie-set. Sony cameras positioned around this movie-set not only allowed visitors to experience the products for themselves, but also potentially inspired new perspectives and directions, bringing to life Sony's brand vision of moving people emotionally in ways that only Sony can.
Milton Singapore was appointed by NCS, a leading info-communications technology service provider, to design and fabricate a booth for INTERPOL World 2015, a biennial security solutions trade event promoting public-private partnerships. The brief was to have the booth showcase NCS's capabilities of "Securing our City" and "Keeping On, Around the Clock".
Our response? Pushing spatial boundaries with creative design to create an inverted city skyline that hangs above the entire booth, which not only helped it stand out, but also reflected how NCS forms the backbone of a city, keeping it safe against increasingly complex security threats.
Foam boxes used to construct this centrepiece also enabled the skyline to move and sway against the trade-hall's air-conditioning, allowing the inverted city to come alive for NCS throughout the show, around the clock.
With 12,800 square metres of action, Anime Festival Asia is the region’s largest festival for Japanese Popular Culture, featuring sold-out Anisong concerts, a lineup of regional exhibitors, activities and some serious cosplays.
Having worked on the show for the past 4 years, Milton Singapore is Sozo's trusted partner, providing not only general contracting service for the show, but also operational support. The team moved a record number of 90,000 visitors through 6 halls, in 3 full days of jam-packed action.
